We are fortunate once again to have a visit from a master cooper, Jonathan Manby this year. Jonathan started as an apprentice cooper at the Theakston Brewery, Masham in June 1995 under Clive Hollis (master cooper). He went on to qualify as a journeyman cooper in June 1999, being the last brewery cooper to qualify in that century. He then became a master cooper himself in 2020 after training Euan Findlay. He has since left Theakston to the next chapter in his cooperage career and joined forces with fellow master coopers Alastair Simms and David Poulter at Jensen’s cooperage, the only independent cooperage in England working on all forms of cooperage ( beer cask, spirit cask, wine cask, cider cask, vat work and everything in between).

Our mission is to keep creating and innovating this simplest of foods. The starting point is our freshly baked Sourdough bread, which is then filled with our three 'delicious' cheese blend (authentic Raclette, Red Leicester and Vintage Mature Cheddar.To keep things tantalising, on top of this (literally) there's a never-ending choice of fillings, that we 'muddle' amongst our toasties. Vegan and Gluten free options are also available.

Henleys Love Sweets is a traditional sweet shop. We specialise in sugar free sweets, liquorice from all over Europe and all the old favourites that are difficult to find.

Lamb Doner Kebab or Chicken Tikka both served in a Pitta, Wrap or Naan Bread or served with chips. All served with salad and sauce.

The Riva Wood Fired Pizza way of working is based on one simple rule, authenticity. This is why all of the pizza ovens we use to cook in are traditional wood fired ovens and manufactured in Italy. The type '00' pizza flour we use to produce our pizza dough fresh every day is produced in Italy. The tomatoes we use for our Neapolitan sauce are produced in Italy. The Fior di latte mozzarella (made from the first cream of the milk) we use is produced in Italy, and so on, you get the idea, authentic.
