Home Brewing Competition

Monday 1 April 2019

This year we'll be once again running the brewing competition for any amateur brewer to enter a beer in two categories (under 4% ABV and over 4.1% ABV). There is no style category, the choice is yours. But do remember if your beer needs six months in a whisky barrel then maybe rethink your entry! Judging will take place at the start of June and the winning brewer will be given the chance to brew their beer at a professional brewery. The resulting brew will feature on the singles bar at this year's beer festival! Entry is on a first come, first served basis so please email moc.liamg@eorW.kraM as soon as you can and he will reply to confirm your submission. Samples of your home brew will need to be sent in by 31st May and must be in 3x330ml bottles. Please do not attach labels, elastic bands are fine. To enter:

• Email Mark Wroe moc.liamg@eorW.kraM() with your name, contact number and which category you are entering.

• Details of beer drop off/collection and how to label will be emailed to you nearer the time.

• The winner will be notified by the end of June and good luck, we can’t wait to taste what you brew!
